Brown Sugar Coated Pecans

Ingredients:

16 oz pecan halves

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Arrange pecans in a single layer on an aluminum foil lined 13 x 9 baking dish.
  3. Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat.  Then add brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Stir one minute and remove from heat.
  5. Continue stirring until brown sugar dissolves.
  6. Pour over pecans and stir to coat.
  7. Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes; stirring every 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and spread on wax paper to cool.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
