Shelter Insurance^® and its agents have a long history of supporting the communities we serve, and we have always encouraged community involvement. One way we do this is through our annual "Thankful for Our Communities" (T4OC) contest. This contest gives people a chance to spotlight their communities, and gives five winners the opportunity to make a large contribution to their favorite charity. Winners also receive a $100 Visa^® gift card they can keep for themselves. The winning essays really make readers want to visit their town.

The 2017 contest has ended. Charities that will receive donations are Special Kids, El Dorado Springs Art Council, Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center, Louisburg High School Wildcat Band and Union County Happy Pack.
