Below are some frequently asked questions regarding Shelter's signature forms.

FAQs for Policy Related Forms

Q. Why am I being asked to sign the form(s)?
A. Based on the policies and coverages you have selected, the included form(s) are required by law to be signed by you.

Q. How long do I have to sign the form(s)?
A. You will be given 10 days from the initial email to sign the necessary form(s). You will receive reminder emails daily until the form(s) are signed.

Q. What happens if I do not sign the form(s)?
A. If you do not sign the form(s) within the allotted 10 days, your policy may be cancelled or your coverage/billing selections could be changed, which may result in a change to your premium.

Q. Who do I contact with questions about the form(s)?
A. Please contact your Shelter Agent or Shelter Insurance Customer Services at 1-800-SHELTER (743-5837)

Q. If I no longer agree to the choices on the form(s), how do I change my selection?

FAQs for Shelter Mutual Insurance Company Proxy Form

Q. Why am I being asked to sign the Shelter Mutual Insurance Company Proxy form?
A. As a policyholder, you are entitled to vote during the Annual Meeting. If you do not plan to attend the annual meeting, you are encouraged to allow members of the Board of Directors to vote on your behalf by signing this form.

Q. What happens if I do not sign the Shelter Mutual Insurance Company Proxy form?
A. If you do not sign this form, in your absence of the Annual Meeting, members of the Board of Directors will not be able to vote on your behalf.

Q. By signing this proxy, who would vote on my behalf?
