Compensation
What career can offer you current income and future income too? As a TrAC agent, your compensation involves both the commissions on current sales and the renewal commissions on existing business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to earn even more through bonuses. As you continue to build your business, your income grows. No limits exist on the amount of money you make. It’s all up to you!

Business Subsidies
Agency start-up costs are lower due to the investment Shelter Insurance® makes in your success. Depending on the size of the agency assumed, you may be eligible to receive subsidies that help provide income and cover expenses while you build your agency. For agencies that are large enough to self-sustain, subsidies are not provided.
Income In Retirement
Operating your own business often means giving up the security of future income. As an agent with Shelter, you can also receive income after you’ve finished working. After spending at least 15 years as a Shelter agent, you will be eligible for termination pay, and there’s no mandatory retirement age for Shelter Insurance® agents.
