Shelter Supports Leadership Development


COLUMBIA, MO - May 5, 2017 – Each year, a leadership conference is held in Atlanta called "Leadercast" that is broadcast to locations throughout the country. In past years, Shelter Insurance® has allowed a significant number of employees to attend the host site in Columbia where the event is simulcast. This year, instead of sending employees to the Columbia host site, Shelter turned their training center into a host site, which enabled more employees to attend. Shelter is the first private company of its size in Columbia to host this type of event for its employees.

To help employees apply the principles they learned in Leadercast, a series of "Huddle Groups" will be held to discuss the topics presented and ways to apply the concepts learned.
